Purification and Enlightenment
Young Apprentices Purification and Enlightenment sessions are provided for the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Sundays of Lent. These sessions have a more intense retreat-like feel to them, calling for repentance and renewal and focusing on a specific image of Christ. (For the First and Second Sundays of Lent, and for Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord, refer to the Young Apprentices Catechumenate sessions.)
The Scrutiny sessions use the Lectionary Sunday readings from Year A for the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Sundays of Lent. The resource articles for the season of Lent and for Holy Week are also posted here.
